Our CSA is driven by our commitments to sustainable, small-scale agriculture, as well as the affordability and accessibility of fresh, nutritious produce.
At Langton Green, we believe that adults with disabilities can choose to live independent, full and healthy lives. Langton Green Community Farm provides meaningful work opportunities for these adults, who work side-by-side with our staff and volunteers. From seed to harvest, they are immersed in the dignifying and empowering work of farming.
We use sustainable, intensive, market gardening practices to produce more than 14,000 lbs. of produce annually. We then distribute most of our vegetables, berries, and cut flowers for free or at a reduced cost to our community. The individuals in our care have the opportunity to give back to the community and strengthen our local food system through produce donations and our CSA model.
