What we do:

Seasonal produce – we grow produce for our homes then donate the rest to those in need, places like Maryland Food Bank and Lighthouse.

Livestock care – we raise therapy animals, including goats, chickens, pigs, and roosters and harvest eggs.

Horticultural care—our sensory gardens, walking trails and other gardens attract educational groups and visitors from around the county.

Langton Green Community Farm is a 13-acre sustainable care farm with therapeutic horticultural and livestock programs. Individuals from Langton Green, Inc. who choose to work at the farm pitch in with farm chores and help raise produce for Langton Green’s group homes and donate surplus to Maryland Food Bank, Lighthouse and others in need. Langton Green, Inc. owns and operates the Langton Green Community Farm. Established in July 2014, the Farm offers meaningful work and vocational training for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
