We brought 60 eighth-grade students to Langton Green Community Farm and had an amazing field trip! The staff there were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They were able to teach the students about planting and growing crops, tools that can help grow fruits and vegetables, and about farm animals too. We were even able to take home a few mementos from our time there! Our students had a great time learning about the inner workings of community farming and sustainable agriculture. We would love to visit again!

Langton Green Community Farm has really been a true partner this year. We were honored to meet during the Future Harvest Conference. After attending our session during the conference, they contacted us to help fill the gap regarding a lack of farm fresh food in urban communities. To help city residents facing food apartheid, each week they faithfully delivered newly harvested produce to ensure families had a variety of fruits and vegetables. In addition, they participated in community wellness events by providing fresh vegetables during the Baltimore City Prevention Convention and Meatless Monday. We are blessed to have such a rewarding community collaboration to help Baltimore City residents thrive.

I love feeding people and distributing the food we grow to the people in my community that need it the most.

The farm is a safe space for everyone and everyone can be independent and build skills.

I feel good about all the plants and animals. The beauty of all the seasons, and seeing all of it working together.

Taking home the food we grow and art and crafts classes.  And field trips.  And the staff.  And Zoom sessions and Bookclub!

I love the farm because people come together here with different ideas and experiences, they can do the things they love and express themselves.
